More About the Author

With more than 20 years of experience in education, Frank brings a rare, end-to-end perspective spanning classrooms, school leadership, district administration, and state-level federal grants oversight. His career began as a classroom educator and has progressed to serving as Director of Title Grants and Support for the Indiana Department of Education, where he lead statewide implementation, compliance, and technical assistance for major federal programs.

At the state level, Frank has overseen and supported billions of dollars in federal funding, including Title I-A, ESSER, and GEER, and played a central role in redesigning federal grants monitoring systems, risk assessment processes, and compliance reviews. Previously, he served as an elementary school principal and assistant principal in Albuquerque Public Schools, where he improved school performance outcomes, expanded access to instructional technology, mentored school leaders, and secured competitive grant funding to support innovation.

Frank is also the author of Show Your Caring and They Will Learn, a practical, educator-centered book grounded in decades of real-world experience. Designed to be read over a weekend and implemented immediately on Monday, the book focuses on helping educators do what they do best: create safe, caring learning environments where students feel valued, supported, and ready to learn. Centered on the belief that students want to return to classrooms where they know they are loved and cared for, the book offers concrete strategies, examples, and ideas that allow educators to focus on what matters most—teaching.
